Always a perennial All-Star and league Cy-Young candidate, Dave did his collegiate pitching for University of Pennsylvania and is an Attorney At Law. Career Highlights: • Dave was selected as the starting pitcher for the American League in the 2000 NJ-MABL All-Star Game in Parsippany, NJ
• Dave was selected as the starting pitcher for the National League in the 1999 NJ-MABL All-Star Game in Glen Rock, NJ • Dave finished second in the league for Most Valuable Player and finished fourth in Cy Young Balloting in 1999. • Dave finished the 1999 season with the following league rankings: tied for first in runs batted in (37), second in batting average (.587), second in hits (37), second in doubles (13), third in slugging percentage (.968), third in total bases (61), fifth in on-base average (.619), eighth in triples (4) and tenth in runs scored (23). • In what could be considered one of the all-time greatest stat lines for one game and considered a season for most, Dave went 4 for 4 with a double, triple, one run scored, eight runs batted in and won the game as a pitcher by giving up one earned run on four hits, four strikeouts over six innings in a 13-1 trouncing of the Lodi Mariners on April 18, 1999. • Dave was elected to the NJ-MABL Hall Of Fame with the second-most votes of all eligible players on February 27, 2000.
