Jorge came to the Marauders after spending a season in the MABL B-Division playing for the Bloomfield Phillies and served as team captain in 1999.  After taking the 2001 season off, he returns to the Men In Black in the spring of 2002.

 

Career Highlights:

 

•   In perhaps what was Jorge’s best day career-wise, he went 5 for 7 with three runs scored, two walks, one double and two stolen bases against the Westchester Cobras in a doubleheader sweep for the Marauders on May 16, 1999.

•   Jorge was selected as a reserve to the 1999 NJ-MABL All-Star Game in Glen Rock, NJ as a fill-in for teammate Al Ramirez.

•   Jorge led the spring team in 1999 for games played and plate appearances and finished tied for the team lead in walks and sacrifices.
