MiAngelo first broke into the North Jersey MABL in April of 1997 after a six year absence from the game as a fill-in first baseman and DH for the Emerson Marlins. He emerged as a consistent all around player who could be counted on in the field with his glove and with his bat providing a tough out in the number eight slot (.312 batting average) in a lineup loaded from top-to-bottom.

After moving over to the Clifton White Sox in the spring of 1998, he took over as Player/Manager after three games for the departed manager Pat Biondi. As an interim Player/Manager, he led his troops to a 3-9-1 record (.269 win percentage).

MiAngelo's playing credentials include playing four years at Dwight Morrow High School (Team Captain for senior season; career .434 batting average), one year as backup catcher for NJIT and one year as backup catcher for Bergen Community College.

His coaching career includes a two-year stint as an assistant varsity baseball coach for his alma mater Dwight Morrow High School, an interim managing job with the White Sox in 1998 and two years with the Englewood Marauders. 

• MiAngelo was named to the 2002 NJ-MABL All-Star Game as a catcher to replace Silas Ashmore of the Verona Marlins. 

• MiAngelo was named to the 2001 NJ-MABL All-Star Game as an Assistant Coach. 

• MiAngelo was named the 2000 NJ-MABL Lou Gehrig League Manager of the Year for the second year in a row.
